Emergency Housing & Modular Communities
Foundations of Dignity and Security
At Yasmine Foundation (YCR), we believe that a safe home is the essential foundation for education and economic growth. Our emergency housing program provides immediate protection for displaced families while serving as the primary infrastructure for our "Knowledge and Skills Cities."
1. Rapid-Deployment Modular Design
Our housing solutions are designed for speed, durability, and dignity.
-
Modular Architecture: Units are prefabricated for rapid assembly, allowing us to house thousands of people in weeks rather than months.
-
Scalability: The design allows families to expand their living space as they transition from emergency status to permanent residency.
-
Community Layout: Shelters are arranged in "neighborhood clusters" to foster social stability and ease of access to schools and medical clinics.

2. Integrated Green Infrastructure
Every housing unit is a node in our green industrial network:
-
Solar Integration: Each roof is equipped with compact solar arrays to provide reliable lighting and charging for educational devices (Ages 3–17).
-
Atmospheric Water Access: Housing clusters are served by nearby Warka Water Towers, ensuring clean drinking water is available at the doorstep.

-
Sanitation & Bio-Fuel: We implement closed-loop sanitation systems. Waste is collected and diverted to our industrial pyrolyzers to be converted into Biochar and Biofuel, turning a challenge into a community resource.

3. Transition to Autonomy
Housing at YCR is the first step in a professional journey:
-
Apprenticeship Construction: We train local adults in the assembly and maintenance of these modular units (Carpenters, Electricians, and Masons).
-
Proximity to Opportunity: Housing is strategically located within walking distance of our Vocational Training Centers and Green Energy Hubs, ensuring that residents are physically connected to their new workplaces.
